Hiking Kit List

Having the right kit is fundamental to your enjoyment of hiking so here’s everything I wear and take with me on a hike for each season to ensure I stay warm and dry:

Spring/Summer

I’m absolutely obsessed with my Spring/Summer wardrobe. In general, I tend to opt for a breathable t-shirt and shorts on hot days and a pair of lightweight walking leggings and a fleece on those windy days. Bright colours are a theme!!

During Autumn, I tend to just wear my Patagonia fleece over the top of a few layers to keep me warm. When it’s really cold, I usually swap between these two Rab jackets - the red is insulated and the blue is insulated & waterproof. I would also recommend wearing base layer leggings underneath for added warmth.
